CARAMEL, NUT & ORANGE - ESPRESSO ROAST
I’ve not really done a dedicated ‘espresso’ roast before, and I have always felt it’s been missing in our line up. A drink all day espresso that cuts through milk and is easy to extract. This isn’t to be confused with a dark charcoal roast though, this is on the darker side of medium but still with plenty of sweetness and a lingering orange acidity, great black or in milk. Enjoy.
THE COFFEE ITSELF
Produced by small holders from Tablön de Gomez, Nariño. This small municipality is 2 hours drive away from Buesaco, Nario, where some of the most unique micro-lots from Nariño are produced. The region is characterized by its mountainous topography and rich volcanic soils. Its cold climate is perfect for a slow ripening of the cherry that leads to a sweet coffee.
It rains frequently in this region so coffees need an average of 20 to 25 days to dry.
